Handmade Christmas

Kenny will be getting a few handmade Christmas gifts this year. This little guy is one of them. I made him out of a pair of gloves. Since Kenny is obsessed with "fire dogs" this little guy will be getting some spots. As soon as I decide how I want to do them. I think I will also make him a cute little scarf.



If you have any thoughts on how I should put on the spots, please share. I have thought of cutting out felt pieces and sewing them on.. but they might get ripped off.. I have also thought of fabric paint.. which I think is what I might go with..

Snow Day

I am a little behind. A few Saturday's ago, we had our first decent snow that actually stuck.. for a minute anyways. Tagg took Kenny outside and let him run around in it.

They also built Kenny's first snowman.

It never got a face though.

Shortly after I took these photos it fell over. Like I said, the snow didn't last very long. Kenny loves snow and loves watching it fall from the sky. We are behind this year and haven't raked up our leaves. I haven't been feeling very well because... I'm expecting! I wasn't nearly this sick when I was pregnant with Kendrick. But, despite feeling awful I'm very excited! I am due June 28th. I wasn't going to say anything but I just can't hold it in, plus you probably have already gotten my hints. There have been alot on facebook. :)

Doll who needs a home.

I wanted to make this hand made doll because I thought it was cute. I don't have a little girl so I would LOVE to give her to someone. Would be nice to give her to someone who might need her. Maybe to someone who doesn't have alot of money for Christmas. Let me know if you are or know someone who would like to adopt this little doll. She is by no means perfect, but I bet she can make some little girl out there happy.

Day out with Daddy.

This Saturday Tagg and Kenny went to 5 mile pass to do some off-roading. Kenny has been asking to go 4-wheeling for quite some time, so since I was helping with super Saturday.. they decided to go together.

This is where they turned around because there were trees in the way and they couldn't make it across the divide of the two trails.

While they were walking around this showed up. They were flying very low to the ground and waved to them. It scared Kenny a little.

They had a great time together. And when they got back they went to McDonalds for a cheeseburger and to play in the play place.

Fall Fun!

This Saturday Kenny and Tagg were out raking the leaves while I lay sick on the couch. I saw them out having a great time together so I made my way out to take some photos of them.

Tagg was working hard, Kenny only had a shovel.. so he was just making a mess of things. But, having a blast doing it.


He laid down and said "shhhh mom I'm sleepin."

I'm pretty sure he has got pieces of leaves all around his mouth. I was going to photoshop them out then I thought.. why? This is just how he is! :)

Happy Halloween!

A boy and his dog

Last night we went to costco to get our dog some food. At the top of the pet isle they had huge dog beds for $18. We have caught our dog on Kenny's bed alot, so we decided to get one in hopes that he would stay off of Kenny's. Well, when we brought it home Bear was so excited. He knew we had gotten him something and we could tell he felt special by the wagging of his tail. He actually has different tail wags and it was the "Look what I've got" wag. Anyways, Kenny was excited to give it to him and ever since has demanded Bear to sleep on it. Last night as we were trying to get Kenny to come eat dinner, we looked in the living room and saw this.

I was photographing our meal for my food blog so my camera was all ready to go. Too funny.

Kenny was refusing to come to dinner because, as he told us, "I am snuggling Bear!" We quietly listened as we heard him whisper over and over to Bear. "close your eyes bear, just close your eyes bear." "Go to Sleep BEAR!" too funny. I love watching them together.
