Fall Fun!

This Saturday Kenny and Tagg were out raking the leaves while I lay sick on the couch. I saw them out having a great time together so I made my way out to take some photos of them.

Tagg was working hard, Kenny only had a shovel.. so he was just making a mess of things. But, having a blast doing it.


He laid down and said "shhhh mom I'm sleepin."

I'm pretty sure he has got pieces of leaves all around his mouth. I was going to photoshop them out then I thought.. why? This is just how he is! :)

Then, he was done... No more pictures please!

A boy and his dog

Last night we went to costco to get our dog some food. At the top of the pet isle they had huge dog beds for $18. We have caught our dog on Kenny's bed alot, so we decided to get one in hopes that he would stay off of Kenny's. Well, when we brought it home Bear was so excited. He knew we had gotten him something and we could tell he felt special by the wagging of his tail. He actually has different tail wags and it was the "Look what I've got" wag. Anyways, Kenny was excited to give it to him and ever since has demanded Bear to sleep on it. Last night as we were trying to get Kenny to come eat dinner, we looked in the living room and saw this.

I was photographing our meal for my food blog so my camera was all ready to go. Too funny.

Kenny was refusing to come to dinner because, as he told us, "I am snuggling Bear!" We quietly listened as we heard him whisper over and over to Bear. "close your eyes bear, just close your eyes bear." "Go to Sleep BEAR!" too funny. I love watching them together.

Spending Time and Grandma and Grandpas

While Tagg was away on a business trip, we went up to my parents house to spend some time there. We did a few fun things including going on a walk with our friends and I helped my mom can chicken.. Well I helped a little bit hehe. One day it was about time for my parents to get home from work. I looked towards the door and found this

This is not an unusual sight. In fact I see it often, but never have my camera handy. I did this time so I secretly snapped away. My parents pulled up.. so bear stood up and sat down, watching their every move carefully, so... Kenny sits up too.

"I love my dog mom" he tells me often. They may have had a tough time getting along in the beginning but they really are good buddies now.

I also decided to try and go get some cute photos of Kenny. And I was a little frustrated. He was kind of a zombie child. But I got a few that I like!

It was fun to spend some time in Brigham, but it is also nice to be home. I will enjoy sleeping in my own bed tonight!

The Pumpkin Patch

This week we took Kenny to the pumpkin patch with our friends. It was alot of fun. It was a cute little pumpkin patch geared toward the little guys. They had an easy corn maze, although it took us a while to get out hehe. Bouncy house, animals, a play area, pumpkin patches all around. It was so fun! Thanks to Kristin for telling me about a pumpkin patch in Orem. too fun!

I liked that it wished us luck... as simple as it was, we needed it! hehe. Probably because we were taking so many photos and not paying attention.

LOVED this photo, I just wish the sun spots weren't there. Not much I could do about that. I should have tried it when it got later.

Checkin out the pumpkins

He LOVED the bounce house, he probably would have loved to spend alot of time in it, but they were closing up by the time we got to the bounce house.


I told him to pick out a pumpkin to take home.. he had a hard time deciding there were so many!

He found one just his size, but we didn't get it because it didn't have it's stem.


We brought home 3 pumpkins. 2 we are going to paint and the other is just cool lookin. It looks like it has been crossed with a gourd or something. It's pretty cool!

The Fish Game

Kenny's latest obsession.. He got this as a gift from our friends and he LOVES it. All I hear, "Mom... I play the fish game please?" All day long hehe. I'm glad he likes it though, Thanks Kenny and Tara and little {M}!

He gets all excited.. "Mom, LOOK, I got a red one..."

That concentrating tongue is back!

Sometimes he gets frustrated and.... cheats.

Another common thing he says while playing is "Mom, I can't do it!" I told him so many times before to just keep trying and now he says "Mom, I can't do it! {pause} but I will keep trying."
